POKER NIGHT IV - RESULTS
A new champion was crowned and “the Blender” mixes up the POY standings…
Twenty-Five guys attended the Summit City Poker Club – Poker Night IV on Saturday October 22, 2005. It was an exciting night of poker with the largest tournament field to date.
With the most points ever at stake at a SCPC tournament current POY leader Shaun “the Blender” D. had high hopes of making a deep run and extending his lead over his rivals but instead “the Blender” went out in 20th position and the door was left wide open for a new name atop the leader board.
“Handsome” Rob, in only his second tournament, was able to take advantage of that open door and vaulted from 8th place to 1st place by taking home the trophy. Rob placed second in the previous tournament and holds a slim 12 point lead over Derek “the Toaster” B. who held onto 2nd place by making his third final table in as many tournaments.
Also moving up were Mike “Dead Money?” E., Mike “the Mouth” B., Kevin “the Rock” H. and making the biggest jump in the standings was John “Brick” Wall who went from 19th to 10th place.
Defending champion Jeff “3 hand” J. made his third final table but slipped from 3rd to 5th place. Shaun “the Blender” D. dropped down to 6th place. Chad “Peaches” S. dropped down from 4th to 7th and Jim K. dropped from 5th to 9th.
Josh K. had the dubious honor of going out first and was awarded the “Dealer Visor” joining Derek “the Toaster” B., Brendon A. and Jim K. in the “First One Out” Club.

Derek and I need to say a few thank you's after the great night we had on the 22nd. First thank you goes to Mike "The Mouth" for #1 buying the same pokerchips as we have at the SCPC, and #2 letting us use them for our tournament. It worked out great. Everyone got a good stack of chips.
Also Mike bought 100 stack chip trays. This made transporting and coloring up much easyer. So big thanks Mike....YOUR THE MAN!
Next we would like to thank everyone for the RSVP's. This really helps us get prepared for the night(setting up tables, chips, and other things) Keep letting us know if you are coming and if you will be bringing anyone.
